Krene S.r.l. is the software expertise center for the Bassilichi group. The company can deliver software development and system integration for the banking and healthcare sectors, as well as help desk and fleet management services.
Krene boasts a highly specialized staff of 89 employees in its offices in Sassari, Bologna, Cagliari, Siena, Rome and Palermo, and is a benchmark partner for banks, companies, and public organizations.
History
Krenesiel, a Sardinian IT company founded in Sassari in 1986, joined the Bassilichi Group under the name Krene in 2008, when Bassilichi S.p.A. acquired a majority holding of 60% of its share capital; the Banco di Sardegna held the remaining block of shares.
With this operation, Bassilichi S.p.A. was able to expand its skill set in software development and strengthen its position with the public administration, which is Krene's leading market. In particular, they consolidated their presence in the healthcare sector, integrating best practices in order to offer an increasingly broad range of solutions, not only in Italy, but across Europe, where Bassilichi already boasts successful experience through its pharmacovigilance application, Ares.
Part of the company branch of DA Sistemi from Sassari, which Bassilichi acquired in 2008, entered Krene in 2009; the agreement with DA made it possible to strengthen the technical help desk structure, ensuring even more efficient service in monetics.
In 2011 Krene underwent another change, when Bassilichi S.p.A. increased its shareholdings to 85% of share capital, along with the arrival of the "software development division" of Bassnet S.r.l., a partially owned company in the Bassilichi Group, which in January 2010 had taken on board the company branch concerned with software for "Monetics, kiosks, and secure multi-channel services" from the company Regulus S.r.l.
